Comment by don carlin on March 3, 2011 at 2:59 that's an interesting idea Alex, I've just established a preliminary contact with Pawlyn and his company so it's early days atm but if I get the chance I'll draw his attention to Geoff Lawton's work - hope yr well - I get uneasy when you become so - er -quiescent?

Comment by Alex Cornish on March 2, 2011 at 0:07 I agree a very fascinating and inspiring film. There is so much information in it! It would be good to get thes guys talking to Geoff Lawton of Greening the dessert (see videos in this section).
The possibilities with that much energy are endless, especially if you have enough water, and the idea that we can just stop mining (or at least reduce mining) and distill important elements from sea water!
