Hi,
My partner, Huma, and I are moving to Hunsdon and there is a 30 acre field which has just come up for sale there at around £6k per acre (plus vat).
We would love to create a large transition project with community allotments, a forest garden and other habitat creation but we can't afford to buy the whole field by ourselves.
If anyone is interested in investing in the project or has suggestions for further funding we would love to hear from you.
Kind regards,
Justin.

Comment by Sandra White on October 31, 2011 at 22:44 Hi, Justin, Welcome to you and Huma!
I'm on the Steering Group of Transition Hertford. Am very interested to hear your plans and dreams for the land near Hunsdon. We just need to have a little bit of a conflab before getting back to you - hope that doesn't feel too bureaucratic!!
Be back to you soon, in the meantime I hope you enjoy the site and what we're doing.
Warm wishes,
Sandra
