I wondered when there will be more events at TH? It would be nice to see members of TH that have never met each other before. There are so many members on here and it would be nice to meet a few new ones if not all of them.

On the subject of events has anyone seen this link at all. I found it on twitter.

http://www.tedxexeter.com/

The website's home page reads as follows:

"TEDxExeter will be an inspirational day of talks, performance and films. You will be presented with cutting edge ideas, compelling stories and entertainment to energise and delight. Check out our amazing speaker line up. They are all people who have turned their dreams into actions and who are making an impact on the world through their work and ideas."

Polly Higgins, Rob Hopkins and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall to name but a few will be there. Check the site out for more details.

I look forward to meeting new TH members in 2012.

Thinking about getting involved in the community and regularly making links within our town and others, Iain and I joined the Bishops Stortford TUBS community project today and helped them tidy up.

Follow the link below to read more about TUBS and watch the very short but sweet video they took today. It doesn't really capture the event itself but it explains what they are doing and why.

Perhaps we can do something similar in Hertford?

Here are some sites for people that might be wanting to update their skills. Perhaps not for TH as a group event but it might be useful for individuals.

They are a bit specific but none the less interesting but then I'm biast. :-)

Yes Carolynn I'd love to go too. I love Hugh!!!! He's brilliant!!!!!! He's such an icon. We should all follow his methods of loving and cooking food the way he does. His restaurant is not fa from our woodland. We may pay him/it a visit when we are on one of our visits to Wishtree Wood.
