Haitian Compost Loo todo at Borehamwood

A visit to the site of Richard Higgins who's groundbreaking design for compost toilets which can fully compost in 2 weeks instead of 2 years have been fundamental in Haiti since the devestating earthquake. Tour of Church Farm, Ardely at Church Farm, Ardely

Church Farm have offered to give TH members and their families and friends a tour on their tractor trailer around the farm explaining what they have set out to do and what they have achieved so far. Room on trailer for 20 (though they could do 2 trips if needed).There is a farm shop there and a cafe as well as a play area for the kids and lots of animals to see. If it rains the tour is cancelled. Please get in touch with me to book your "seat"

Apple Day at Quaker Meeting House

We will be holding an Apple Day event at the Quaker Meeting House on Railway Street in Hertford. This will be a festival of fruity fun, with tasty food available, a film to watch and some challenging competitions too. The event runs from 11am until 4pm. Come and support Transition Hertford or just drop in during the day to say hello.
