I reckon to send out a couple of news items each month that way, and there's a small backlog for you already!

For now though, do try to come to the Eco FilmFest on Saturday at Castle Hall, Hertford. It runs all day from 11.30 to 9.30 pm with food and drink and children's events laid on. 3VEG and Transition Hertford are co-organisers. I aim to be there most of the day.

Dear Madela -

First of all, welcome to Transition Hertford (TH) and our Green Drinks Group! I'm so glad you followed up the link to TH.

There's now quite a lot going on 'Eco' in Hertford and the pace is increasing, though obviously not as much as we'd like! There is a meeting of Green Drinks this Thursday - I do hope you can make it (details below).

I do hope you can come along on Thursday to Green Drinks: it would be great to meet you and talk issues and practical action with you. We start at 8 and finish when there seems not much else to say, which is usually well after 10!
Our meeting will be at the Salisbury Arms in Hertford this coming Thursday 15th. (If it's your first visit, the bar is first on the right, and we gather in the room to the left as you go in.) Looking forward to seeing you there from 8 pm.

[ The latest for the White Horse, our usual meeting place, is that required (minor) work is expected to start shortly, and we may well be back there in June.]

Very best wishes
