Film Night- The End of the Line at Hertford Quaker Meeting Room

February 2, 2012 from 7:15pm to 9:30pm
Come along to our February Film Night, where we'll be viewing The End of the Line. The End of the Line is the first major feature documentary film revealing the impact of overfishing on our oceans. The film chronicles how demand for cod off the coast of Newfoundland in the early 1990s led to the decimation of the most abundant cod population in the world, how hi-tech fishing vessels leave no escape routes for fish populations and how farmed fish as a solution is a myth. The End of the Line also…See More

Hi, Liz,

it's great to see you here!

We're going to be doing more with this site, so watch this space!

May I draw your attention to the event I have advertised on April 11th and 18th, Denial, Stories and Visions? It would be great to see you there, too! If not, would you be willing to forward information about it to contacts and friends - anyone who is involved in trying to engage others with sustainability, or who knows people who are? I plan to offer this regularly from May, and it would be great to have feedback from a pilot first - attendance in April is free.

With my thanks and best wishes,

Sandra
