Hi Clive.

As you are going to the meeting on Thursday you will have a chance to meet up with Dick Warn who runs a Clean Energy group for U3A and is a member of the Hertford Transition steering group. It sounds like that might be a great place to inform people about the Green Homes Scheme

I am an assessor for the Green Homes Scheme (a Government funded grant for loft and cavity wall insulation) If you've not applied yet, or not sure if you can, contact me for a personal appraisal. Within the scope of the scheme, those aged over 70 (and recipients of means tested benefits) get it installed free! The rest of us pay just £129 for loft insulation and £129 for cavity wall insulation. A fantastic offer with no scams, nothing to pay up-front and a 25 year guarantee
