Hi Beth, I'm sorry you've had to chase me.  It has taken longer than I expected to hear from my colleagues.  Even though it appears to be, your request is not straightforward for the site - we've never used it for members' personal situations before and so it's quite a big step.  We have to think about whether we'd accept any request from any member for anything in the future - and if not, what are our criteria.  So I'm sorry that this is getting held up in those kinds of considerations, which have no bearing on your urgent situation, which we'd really like to help with, but which are important to us in terms of the future of the site.

I'm very glad indeed that you're seeing two places and hope that one of them will be suitable.  Any news on the job?

Warmly,

Sandra

Hi, Beth, it was good to see you last week, too.  I'm sorry to hear about your new place falling through - and I also hoped you'd hear about the job sooner than this!

I need to check out with my colleagues about whether it's OK to use the website for this kind of request - we haven't done so before.  But I hope it will be fine - what else is community for? It's just not a decision I alone can make.  So I'll ask quickly and get back to you asap.

Chin up,

Hi, Beth,

great to see you last night!  A tiny thought about travelling West across Hertfordshire!  The 724 greenline bus goes from Birchley Green (starts at Harlow) to Heathrow and stops at Welwyn Garden City (1/2 hour) and St Albans (don't remember how long!).  It's a really reliable service, one an hour.

See you soon,

Sandra

Great to hear you're interested in local food. There's a discussion going on about a local food directory. Have a look.
