in the Transition Streets doc I posted in the discussion proper, the Wessex Reinvestment Trust is mentioned as a funding agency - the link below takes you to a Rise description of this west country initiative - is there anything similar in Hertfordshire, could we engage the council's attention with this?

the DECC site also features this Renewable Heat Incentive for homes, it's not yet mentioned on the site but I understand gov have cut the original intended overall payback incentive by 20% but that still means you get back the cost and the cost of fuel (if it's a boiler using biomass for instance) but it covers a large range of heating 'products' and the coalition has recently affirmed it will stick with this program

DECC launched a new site supporting local small scale energy generation today: http://ceo.decc.gov.uk/

From press release: "This resource has been developed to support local authorities and community groups in their role as initiators, supporters and developers of local low carbon and renewable energy projects."
