Permalink Reply by Iain Bagnall on May 3, 2010 at 20:10 There's an interesting tool for visualising and discovering connections around "peak oil" (or any term you think to search for) using 'silobreaker' that I've just discovered: Peak Oil Network.
I'd also recommend this presentation by Karen Blakeman that I've just attended where it was mentioned, if you want to do more with your web searching. A whole host of alternative search engines that work in different ways.
Hope you find this helpful. Nathan

Permalink Reply by carolyn westlake on October 13, 2010 at 21:55 :-) I take yr point carolyn - have removed it, reworked it so it simply deals with peak oil and transition initiatives and thereby reduced it to 31 pages - however you might bear in mind that aricles I write in Open Office format use 1.5 line spacing, so 30 of my pages equal 20 of single spaced material - and that's about as small as I can reducett it to or it becomes much less of a history of both elements :-) actually, it's a space thing yes? There's lots of it between paragraphs, between words and between letters, so a true estimate is probably about 5 pages - mmm - does that make me a spaceman?
The offer still holds about the drink btw *smiles*
