Hi everyone
Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who spent so much time in the planning and preparation for yesterdays event. I enjoyed it all -the Speakers, the stuff for the kids to do, and the brilliant choice of films.
And welcome to anyone who may be visiting and or joining this site after yesterday. It was really exciting to meet so many people just itching to get going on with projects that will make Hertford a better more vibrant place to live.
If anyone has any thoughts on yesterday or indeed what could happen next please join the Forum.
And check out forthcoming events and hopefully see you there!
Carolyn:)

Permalink Reply by carolyn westlake on April 26, 2010 at 7:46 I agree that Eco Film Festival might be a bit off putting for some people who a) may not fully understand the term or b) may not identify themselves as "eco" anything. Language is so important and we need to get it right to be able to reach out to different groups of people in Hertford. I too would like to see younger people involved.
I believe there was a rationale behind why it was decided not to involve local shops this time. Could anyone who was on the committee explain what the thinking behind this was? : )
